This cabin, designed and built, on the slopes of Mt Lemon. The design includes a heavy stone masonry section tying the cabin to the mountain slope, and a lightweight section cantilevered over the sloping mountain side. This design was intended to mimic a cantilevered tent off the side of a hill.

The materials are stone form the area as well as wood siding and a standing seam metal roof. The materials were chosen for their durability, low maintenance and how they blended into the forest setting.
